Dr. Safri Bin Nawawi began his medical career after graduating from Australia, completing his training at Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur (HBKL) across four main disciplines: surgery, orthopedics, general medicine, and child health (pediatrics). After finishing his internship, he was assigned to the neurology ward for 9 months before pursuing pediatric training at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) for 3 years. He furthered his experience by working at Charing Cross Hospital in the UK under the University of London, where he passed professional examinations and was awarded a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of England. Upon returning to Malaysia, Dr. Safri served as a medical officer at HBKL and worked as a locum doctor, gaining exposure to the private medical sector. He later returned to his hometown of Batu Gajah, Perak, where he provided community service for 4 months before opening a clinic in Jalan Silibin, Ipoh, in partnership with Dr. Hamimah binti Idruss.
